First visit

Thank you for choosing our office for your dental needs. We have created a comfortable environment where you can feel confident in the level of dental care you receive. When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your dental treatment.

A comprehensive evaluation of your teeth, gums and jaw will be performed. Your initial exam will last approximately one and a half hours. This visit will help us get acquainted with each other and learn about your goals and desires for your dental treatment. Generally, X-rays will be taken allowing your doctor to examine the jaw’s structure, tooth health and gum condition. We will take photographs to allow us to properly show you the current condition of your teeth and smile. A detailed oral cancer screening will also be done. Depending on the condition of your mouth we will try to provide an evaluation that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment.

We will have you return for a thorough cleaning with one of our wonderful hygienists. Oral hygiene instructions will also be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth.

Infection Control:

Our office exceeds all government standards for sterilization and infection control. We use the latest heat sterilization technology to sterilize our instruments and handpieces to ensure the health and wellbeing of all our patients. Our air purifying device uses ion technology to kill mold, bacteria and viruses.
